WONDER VALLEY OLIVE OIL // Forever in search of the best olive oil, I appreciate this as a housewarming or hostess gift. It’s also (allegedly) traditional to gift olive oil in Mediterranean cultures.
24 HOURS OF LEMANS: 1923 // I was talking with another creator today about incorporating our partners’ interests in design. We both love to decorate with books and like to reflect their interests in the titles we collect. Local Sources: Layered by Paige Elise (Newport Beach, CA).
*1889 WAX LIGHTING CO. PORCELAIN CLARISSE // C surprised me with this stunning, new-to-me candle brand for Christmas. He selected the scent “Baron,” which is fresh, spa-like, and perfect. I’m also in love with the vessel, which is hand-thrown in Bozeman, and will keep it long after the candle has burned out. Local Sources: Summer Story (Alys Beach, FL).
CHUCK TAYLOR ALL STAR // I can’t tell if I’m insane for liking these.
SKIMS BRALETT // I hate, truly hate underwire bras. Will report back if this is, as I suspect it will be, my new favorite bralette.
*FLAT WEAVE KILIM // I purchased a similar option from this vendor and was impressed with the quality and shipping. Note, it’s vintage and it will feel vintage. Don’t expect it to come steam-cleaned or in like-new condition (it’s a >$50 rug, guys).
SALT & STONE BODY LOTION // I love their Hinoki + Bergamot body wash and want the scent in every form possible. Local Sources: Parasol (Alys Beach, FL).
*ART DE AVALO WORKS // I love these works by one of my favorite creators, @life_simplified. This piece is sold, but she and her husband have a wealth of other works at affordable price points.
*MCKENZIE DOVE PAPER WORKS // I also adore anything from McKenzie Dove. On a somewhat related note, her Birmingham rental property Stay 42nd is on my to-do list.
METAL LED STEM LAMP // Love the slim silhouette of this utilitarian lamp. It feels similar to some of the more expensive options I’ve seen at my favorite stores and in the homes of my favorite designers.
SENUFO STYLE STOOL // Stools are the unsung heroes of the design world. Use them as side tables, style them to fill empty spaces, rely on them to reach the top shelves of any upper cabinet…
GOODRICH IRON SIDE TABLE // That said, we also love a cocktail table, even if we don’t have any cocktails to put on said table.
SHEARLING STOOL // Bonus points for the shearling!
