WEEK 23

SEASIDE BLUES

*OIL PAINTING // Hurry, I might buy this even though I have, quite literally, nowhere to put it.

*STRIPED PILLOW // This makes me rethink my entire approach to interior design.

*SHELL DISHES // Use em for snacks, jewelry dishes, or catchalls for collected matches.

*SOUTH SEA JOUNAL // A vintage coffee table book? Be still my heart

ULTRA HIGH RISE ANKLE STRAIGHT JEAN // These are my new go-to jeans! Good price, great fit — and they come in a short option for little ones like myself (5’3). Only downside is they’re often sold out, so I check periodically and purchase immediately when my size is available.

SWIM SUIT // This is the only swimsuit brand I wear!! I can’t believe we used to wear low-rise bottoms…

SEASIDE HAT // Did you even go to Seaside if you didn’t buy a Seaside sweatshirt or, in this case, hat?

LL. BEAN BOAT & TOTE // My current go-to bag is a simple canvas tote. And while my top choice is a Steele Canvas Medium Tote with 5” handles, the price on the classic LL. Bean Boat & Tote is hard to beat. Garnish with a cheeky saying and voila!

STRIPED CHAIR // This chair completes the beach bungalow visions that inspired this edit.

WICKER URN // We love a juxtaposition!

SHELL BOTTLE OPENER // The perfect hostess gift for your beach house hostess!

BAROQUE PEARL NECKLACE // I made my own a few years back and, after C told me that it looked like something an old lady would wear, put it away for a while. Then, I remembered, I dress to impress other women, not my boyfriend. While prices on these baroque pearl necklaces vary (wildly), this J.Crew option is a low-cost option, though I can’t speak to the quality. Donni, which inspired my DIY, is the best option.

PICARDIE GLASSES // I cannot tell y’all why I want these glasses so badly, but I do. They’re so timeless, yet unassuming and chic.

POLISHED NICKEL PENDANT // If you think you want polished chrome, you don’t. You want polished nickel.

ROYAL COPENHAGEN PLATTER // Fancy but not too fancy!

RATTAN & SILVER SHAKERS // Fancy!
