WEEK 21

a COASTAL WINTER

SHEEPSKIN // Unfortunately my dogs would destroy this, but I love it as a rug or on the end of a bed for a little winter coziness.

VASSOIO TRAY // Big paper tray girlie. They are my current favorite storage solution: wash ‘em, fold them for later use, etc.

LINEN BOLSTER // A friend recently picked up an extra chunky version of this bolster pillow at Summer Story (Alys Beach, FL) and it’s perfection.

ABUNDANCE TRIPTYCH // I will undoubtedly retract this statement the next time I wander down to Antiques on Holiday (Miramar Beach, FL), but I have enough accessories. And so, I have dubbed this the year of art. This triptych caught eye, but sadly, in our builder-grade home they were not considering art collections and we have two art walls (tv walls, I believe the builders called them).

ANASTASIA FLOOR MIRROR // I went on a deep dive on floor-length mirrors and was not impressed with the selection under $1000. This one, however, is worth it.

SAINTS OF OLD FLORIDA // A delightful book by a trio of Floridians, including the owner of Becasa (Inlet Beach, FL & Apalachicola, FL). It captures the inexplicable magic of old Florida.

BRAIDED RAFFIA WALL LIGHT // More texture, please.

WHITE PLINTH // A great solution for a lonely corner. Style a vase, plant, or artful arrangement of branches foraged from your backyard (or neighbor’s backyard).

SEA SPONGE // Just because you don’t invite your houseguests into your bathroom doesn’t mean the space shouldn’t get a little of styling, too.

BOXY CROP TEE // Have been heavy into the R&D on the perfect white tee (my favorite Outdoor Voices one is forever sold out), and this Madewell tee fits the bill of boxy and cropped (did the name give it away?).

MAISON LOUIS MARIE CANDLE // Restocked my supply of Maison Louis Marie candles, you should, too.

BERTOIA CHAIRS // A cult-classic chair that has withstood the test of time and interior trends, the Bertoia chair is a great option. There are plenty of cost-effective options if you’re not ready to invest in a vintage version (see here). Style with the sheepskin above.

ALEX MARSHALL COFFEE CUP // Big Alex Marshall fan over here.

MUDCLOTH PILLOW // My design approach: you don’t need color, you need texture.

OFF-WHITE JUTE RUG // Recently purchased this for a client. They’re a good go-to, especially for the price point!

THE GENTLE LABEL SOAP // Actually pulled this for a project moodboard and just discovered the brand is either sold out everywhere or out of business. Try this instead.
