BIWEEKLY 2

the HOME

“BACKGAMMON” by NICK MELE // I adore the photographer Nick Mele. He feels like a 21st century Slim Aarons with a little more whimsy and, often, a personal touch (you’ll frequently see his wife and kids). I would love to collect “I Love Capitalism,” a piece from his series “Please Sign in All Guests” (hint hint).

SPHERE CANDLE // This sphere candle seems to be making the rounds as a fan favorite, so you’ll find it in most local home + gift stores. It’s a fun little guy who’d make a great accent piece. Local Sources: Berner & Co. (Los Angeles, CA), P.S. The Letter (Fort Worth, TX), Baker Tatum (San Antonio, TX).

*LUXOR PILLOW IN GUAVA // It’s prints like these that make me question my aversion to color.

*BARNEBY GATES “PAINTER’S STRIPE” // Again! Questioning my aversion to color! Local Sources: Supply Showroom (Austin, TX).

MATCH STRIKER // This match striker, which comes in a variety of colors, would make a cute gift.

BRENTWOOD COTTON THROW // I truly believe you can never have too many throws, but as a color-averse shopper, I opt for neutral-colored throws.

MEDUSA COIN PRINT by MICHELLE FARROW // She’s so cute!

BLUSH BACKGROUND by LIA BURKE LIBAIRE // Again! So cute!

the KITCHEN

DISPOSABLE COFFEE CUPS // Elevate the everyday, people.

AVOCADO VASE // I love mine but have yet to get an avocado to sprout. Accepting suggestions. Local Sources: Clic (Multiple Locations), Clay 30A (Seagrove Beach, FL)

the TABLE

COTTON TABLE RUNNER // I just purchased this from H&M. If you don’t know, now you know: H&M has truly delightful finds for the home and table.

*SMALL TUMBLER SET of TWO // Darling!

COTTON COCKTAIL NAPKINS // Brilliant!!

MUSHROOM BIRTHDAY CANDLES // Darling and brilliant! But, in all seriousness, I think Meri Meri has the cutest paper and celebration goods. Keep an eye out for them at your local paper shops!

CASA NUNO PINK & WHITE PLATES // Casa Nuno offers a new take on the traditional Portuguese and Spanish Talavera pottery, creating dinnerware that feels whimsical but just restrained enough for everyday use. Local Sources: Berner & Co. (Los Angeles, CA), Home with Hechart (Birmingham, AL), Dear Keaton (Atlanta, GA).

HANDMADE SCALLOPED PLACEMATS // Pair with the table runner!

12-PACK TAPERS // Pair with the Delaney Candlestick!

DELANEY CANDLESTICK // I’ve been seeing glass candlesticks everywhere, so keep an eye out for similar options at local home + gift stores! Local Sources: Similar at The Tiny Finch (San Antonio, TX).

RIALTO HIGH GLASS TUMBLERS // Old fashioned, but make it feminine. This is also another cult-favorite brand you’ll find in many local home + gift stores. Local Sources: A’mano (Birmingham, AL), Rococo via The Scout Guide Newport Beach (Costa Mesa, CA), Up Market (San Antonio, TX), DCD Mercantile (Birmingham, AL), urbAna (Phoenix, AZ).

the CLOSET

OUTDOOR VOICES RUGBY SHORT // Just purchased a navy pair from Poshmark and wore them all day to ensure I’m recommending something good. They’re a surprisingly thin, but super-soft material. The shorts give Soffes vibes, which is so wonderfully nostalgic.

the VANITY

EAU THERMALE AVENE MOISTURIZING MELT-IN BALM // I love this. It’s not too heavy, has a gentle scent, and feels really refreshing and — shockingly — hydrating.

OLIO E OSSO NO. 2 // Think lightly tinted chapstick, but it’s also for your cheeks.

HINOKI FANTÔME by BOY SMELLS // I love Boy Smells branding, and while their signature scent “Kush” is a little sweet for me, I do love anything Hinoki.

the ETC.

A HOUSE PARTY IN TUSCANY // My instructions for a Tuscan house party… in Northwest Florida.

WILDSAM FIELD GUIDE to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COAST // Wildsam guides are great resources and great reads. Local Sources: Almond Surfboards (Costa Mesa, CA).

DINNER DIARIES // Clearly I have hosting on the mind! This is a really beautiful book.
