WEEK 17

the HOME

OUTSIDE WE SMILE by DAVID FLETCHER // “The series of paintings explores the continued draw to the landscapes of the city peripheries and seeks to capture the essence and energy of a seasonal, fluid environment—from rural scenes, domestic tropes, and everyday rituals.” - Tappan Collective

DEAUVILLE in GROVE // She’s formal without being stuffy. Experiment with this pattern in fabrics or wallpaper.

BEACHCOMBER WAFFLE THROW // We love a waffle fabric.

the TABLE

CHARTREUSE TAPERED CANDLES (SET of SIX) // Can never have too many tapers.

ENGRAVED THIS OR THAT CARDS // And While Rebecca Gardner’s offerings are so far out of my price point, I glean a lot of inspiration from her gluttonous tablescapes. I invite you to indulge in these engraved place setting cards or or use them as inspiration for your own DIY versions.

SPECKLED ENAMEL CARAFE // The color feels autumnal, but the material feels year-round.

RIGHE PLATE in GREEN // For your earth-toned Thanksgiving table and Christmas dinner parties. As an aside, I don’t buy holiday-specific table goods and prefer to invest in items that can be used throughout the year.

CHARTREUSE TWIST GOBLET // Twisted glass goblet handblown by Tracy Glover in her Rhode Island studio exclusively for Houses & Parties.

the CLOSET

THE MARIEL LONGLINE CARDIGAN SWEATER // Few things are better than a cozy sweater that’s equally as practical for lounging on the sofa as it is for running errands.

HYANNIS LINEN PAJAMAS // Every year C and I get matching PJs to wear on Christmas morning. These are currently topping my list.

the VANITY

CANNABIS PERFUME // After Le Labo Santal No. 33, this is my favorite scent in the world. With herbaceous notes grounded by black pepper, bright bergamot, earthy cedar wood, patchouli, and sandalwood it’s androgynous, bright, and interesting. Not ready to commit to a new scent? Try it out in candle form.

OLIVE OIL SOAP // Bookmark as a stocking stuffer or hostess gift. Consider stocking up for when you inevitably forget an occasion that warrants a sussy.

WONDER VALLEY HINOKI BODY WASH // I’ll take anything in hinoki, please!

the ETC.

CHOCOLATE MARTINI ALMONDS // I used to be a martini girl. But, I think it was because I really, really love olives.
